We are ‘hooked’ on sea fishing and ‘Raptor’, our latest boat, is a GRP pro charter built to comply fully with all required UK safety standards.
She was purpose built in 2007 for charter angling and is 35 feet long by 10 feet in beam. There is an enormous 126 square feet of deck space and 76 feet of gunnel length which means that 10 anglers can fish in comfort.
Raptor has a single 360 HP diesel engine coupled to a Hamilton Jet Unit which gives great maneuverability and a cruising speed of 25 knots with a full crew.
10 anglers can sit in comfort either on deck or in the wheelhouse. There is a deck level flushing toilet compartment and shower. A permanent supply of hot tea and coffee are provided free of charge and there is even a microwave for hot pies etc.
Raptor is fully equipped with Radar, GPS, Plotter, VHF Radio, Fish finder and all safety equipment to comply with MCA category 2.
We have insulated fish storage, live bait tanks, rod storage and storage space for waterproofs.
Having a fast boat (25 knots cruising) we can easily reach the mid channel wrecks and the Channel Islands on long range days. Operating from Shell Bay, Studland, the Isle of Wight and Purbecks are within easy reach.
Cruise the Dorset coastline for a couple of hours before an evening meal at the highly recommended Shell Bay Seafood Restaurant.
Have fun watching the magnificent firework displays from the deck just off the renowned Sandbanks beach and Swanage.
